The
resDNASEQ Quantitative Vero DNA Kit is a quantitative PCR (qPCR)-based
system for the detection of host cell DNA from Vero (African Green
Monkey) cells, an expression system commonly used for the production of
vaccines. Reliable and rapid, the resDNASEQ system enables sensitive (as
low as 1.5 pg DNA/mL test sample) and specific quantitation of Vero
cell DNA, typically in less than four hours. This performance helps
ensure a high degree of confidence in quantitation data obtained from a
broad range of sample types—from in-process samples to final
product—whether the sample contains high molecular weight or sheared
DNA.
This
kit is bundled together with sample preparation reagents in the form of
a PrepSEQ Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit, which is optimized for
highly efficient residual DNA recovery from complex mixtures of
proteins, buffers, and salts.

resDNASEQ Vero DNA Real-Time PCR Reagents:
- 2X Environmental Master Mix (2 tubes, 0.75 mL per tube). Store at -15 to -25°C before first use, protect from light.
- 10X Vero DNA Assay Mix (1 tube, 300 µL). Store at -15 to -25°C, protect from light.
- Negative control water (1 tube, 1.0 mL). Store at -15 to -25°C before first use and 2–8°C after first use.
resDNASEQ Vero DNA Control:
- Vero DNA Control (1 tube, 40 µL, 30 ng/µL). Store at -15 to -25°C.
- DNA Dilution Buffer (1 bottle, 7 mL). Store at -15 to -25°C before first use and 2–8°C after first use
PrepSEQ Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit:
- Lysis Buffer (2 bottles, 50 mL/bottle)
- Binding Solution/Isopropanol (1 empty bottle)
- Wash Buffer Concentrate (2 bottles, 26 mL/bottle)
- Elution Buffer (1 bottle, 25 mL)
- Proteinase K Buffer( 1 bottle, 50 mL)
- Magnetic Particles (2 tubes, 1.5 mL/tube)
- Proteinase K (20 mg/mL) (1 tube, 1.25 mL). Store at or below -20°C.
- Store all at room temperature unless otherwise indicated.
PrepSEQ Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit:
- Proteinase K (20 mg/mL) (1 tube, 1.25 mL)
- Yeast tRNA (10 mg/mL) (1 tube, 0.5 mL)
- Glycogen (5 mg/mL) (2 tubes, 1.0 mL/tube)
- Store all at or below -20°C.
