The panel of assays in this plate targets genes involved in a broad range of inflammatory diseases. The genes fall into 4 classes:
• Channels (L-type calcium and Ligand gated);
• Enzymes and Inhibitors (Lipases, Kinases, Nitric Oxide Synthase, Phosphodiesterase, Prostaglandin Metabolism, and Proteases)
• Factors (Tumor necrosis factors, Nuclear factor Kappa-Β, Interleukin, Annexins, Kinnogens)
• Receptors (GPCR, IL Receptor family, Adhesion molecules, TNF receptors and Nuclear receptors)
Gene Signature Plates are 96-well plates that are pre-configured with the most appropriate Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays for a specific biological process, pathway, or disease state. Each plate contains predefined assays and endogenous controls dried-down in the wells, ready for accurate assessment of an entire gene signature in one simple experiment.
