The RNase P gene is a single-copy gene that encodes the RNA moiety for the RNase P enzyme. Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ RNase P Control Reagents were designed with limiting primer concentrations to be used as the endogenous reference in multiplex reactions. Multiplex PCR is the use of more than one probe and primer pair in the same tube. This kit is designed to perform a 5' nuclease assay with TaqMan™ Universal PCR Master Mix using the provided human genomic DNA as template
