The TaqMan Zika Virus Triplex Kit enables the simultaneous detection and differentiation of RNA from dengue virus (DENV), chikungunya virus (CHIKV), and Zika virus (ZIKV) in urine and serum. It is a lyophilized, multiplex, one-step real-time PCR Applied Biosystems TaqMan assay for the molecular detection of dengue, chikungunya, and Zika RNA. The kit is optimized for use with the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR System, but is also suitable for the 7500 (0.2 mL kit), 7500 Fast (0.1 mL kit), and other QuantStudio systems. It includes a primer-probe set for human PPIA (cyclophilin A) as an endogenous extraction, RT-PCR and PCR amplification control. The kit is compatible with RNA extracted from human urine or serum using the MagMAX Pathogen RNA/DNA Kit.
