The Applied Biosystems VeriFiler Plus PCR Amplification Kit is a highly discriminating, highly sensitive, robust kit optimized for forensic casework. Utilizing our 6-dye chemistry, the VeriFiler Plus kit targets 25 markers: 23 autosomal STRs, including Penta D, Penta E, and two gender discrimination markers. These markers meet all of the requirements CODIS markers as well as the Chinese National autosomal DNA database.

The VeriFiler Plus kit was specifically developed to maximize sensitivity to enable maximum information recovery from challenging casework samples including touch, degraded, and inhibited samples, yet can also be run in direct mode for single source reference samples in database workflows. The VeriFiler Plus kit includes all of the same markers as the VeriFiler Express and Huaxia Platinum kits, but in a complementary layout to maximize discrimination for degraded samples. The VeriFiler Plus kit is part of a fully integrated and validated forensic DNA workflow backed by best-in-class global training, service, and support. As with all Applied Biosystems STR kits, the VeriFiler Plus kit is ISO18385 Forensic DNA Grade, giving you piece of mind when using this kit for your casework samples.
