Geltrex™ LDEV-Free hESC-qualified Reduced Growth Factor Basement Membrane Matrix is a soluble form of basement membrane extracted from murine Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumors and is free of viruses, including lactose dehydrogenase elevating virus (LDEV), sometimes found in this type of preparation. Routinely used for attachment and maintenance of human embryonic stem cells (hESC), every lot of Geltrex™ LDEV-free hESC-qualified Reduced Growth Factor Basement Membrane Matrix is quality control tested using hESCs and StemPro hESC Serum Free Media to help ensure growth and pluripotency of each lot
