Gibco™ Leibovitz's L-15 Medium, powder, 10 L

Leibovitz's L-15 Medium supports the growth of HEP-2 monkey kidney cells and primary explants of embryonic and adult human tissue. L-15 is buffered by phosphates and free base amino acids instead of sodium bicarbonate. This medium is designed for supporting cell growth in environments without CO2 equilibration

Using Leibovitz's L-15 Medium

• L-15 contains no proteins, lipids, or growth factors. Therefore, F-10 requires supplementation, commonly with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Powder forms of Gibco® L-15 cell culture medium require pH adjustment and filtration at the time of preparation
