The ChargeSwitch® Plasmid Yeast Mini Kit provides an efficient method for purifying high-quality plasmid DNA from 1 ml of Saccharomyces cerevisiae grown in selective minimal media. This kit typically yields up to 25 ng of plasmid DNA. Data generated from transformation and PCR experiments using ChargeSwitch® purified DNA shows improved performance versus DNA purified by other methods . This kit includes all the necessary reagents for the number of preps listed and requires the use of a magnetic accessory.
