This kit can detect all 14 high risk HPV genotypes in single tube and simultaneously genotype HPV16 and HPV18 by real time fluorescence detection. The assay includes in-tube internal control reaction to safe-guard the quality of the samples to avoid false negativity due the low sample quantity. The kit also provides positive and negative controls to ensure the results are trustworthy. It requires fluorescence real time PCR equipment with FAM/HEX/ROX/CY5 channels to perform the assay. This kit performs essentially the same function as Roche’s Cobas HPV assay but offers simpler, faster and cheaper HPV assays to the customers.
