Features

• All Serum S-Monovettes contain silicate-coated plastic granules to induce coagulation. The plastic granules form a layer between the coagulum and the serum during centrifugation.
• All Serum-Gel S-Monovettes, in addition to the silicate-coated plastic granules for inducing coagulation, also contain a polymer-based gel that forms a stable separating layer between the coagulum and the serum during centrifugation on account of its density and serves as a barrier during sample transportation and storage. The serum in the Serum S-Monovettes is used as a sample material within the scope of routine clinical/ chemical analyses, in serology and immunohaematology, for monitoring therapeutic drugs and for identifying hormones in serum.
