The 30 L Thermo Scientific™ HyPerforma™ S.U.F., jacketed, AC Motor, with 2 position vent filter bracket and 120VAC electrical box, is designed to provide the users with enhanced functionality, ease of use, and efficiency for microbial fermentation. The HyPerforma S.U.F. system consists of a fermentor tank and Thermo Scientific™ HyPerforma™ S.U.F. BioProcess Container (BPC). The system has a 5:1 turndown ratio, which means it can run at a low 6 L working volume. The HyPerforma S.U.F. maintains traditional stirred-tank fermentation design principles, including specific height-to-diameter ratios (3:1), top-driven impeller location that deliver optimum cell viability, and performance and scalability from process development through production.

 

Features

  • The S.U.F. is a fully functional fermentor vessel including single-use sterile contact surfaces for mixing, venting, sparging and temperature sensing. Additional ports are included to allow choice of aseptic connections for filling, emptying and sampling.
