Gibco™ Sf9 cells in Grace's
Gibco® Sf9 cells are commonly used to isolate and propagate recombinant baculoviral stocks and to produce recombinant proteins. The cells originated at the USDA Insect Pathology Laboratory, from the parental IPLBSF-21 (Sf21) cell line, which was derived from the pupal ovarian tissue of the fall army worm, Spodoptera frugiperda.
