On demandRNase Inhibitor, 40000 U
RNase Inhibitor (ribonuclease inhibitor) is a 50 kDa recombinant enzyme used to inhibit RNase activity, protect RNA samples and prevent the degradation of RNA template. The inhibitor specifically inhibits RNases A, B and C. It is not effective against RNase 1, RNase T1, S1 Nuclease, RNase H or RNase from Aspergillus. It inhibits RNases by binding noncovalently in a 1:1 ratio with high affinity.
RNase inhibitor is active at pH 5.0-9.0 and 25℃-55℃, which is suitable for thermostable reverse transcriptase. It does not contain DNase or endonuclease activity. No inhibition of polymerase activity is observed when RNase Inhibitor is used with Taq DNA Polymerase, AMV or M-MuLV Reverse Transcriptases, or Phage RNA Polymerases (SP6, T7, or T3).
