Thermo Labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase, 1 mL
Thermo Labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase is expressed by a recombinant E. coli strain cloned with UDG gene from Atlantic cod and purified through multiple steps.
UDG (Uracil-DNA Glycosylase) can catalyze the hydrolysis of dU-containing DNA single-stranded or double-stranded uracil base and sugar phosphate backbone N-glycosidic bond, release free uracil, thereby the resulting abasis sites are easily broken by hydrolysis. This product is sensitive to high temperature, and the enzyme can be irreversibly inactivated above 50°C.
Features
- Effectively eliminate uracil, Specifically degrade the dsDNA containing uracil and no affect on dsDNA without uracil.
- Optimum Temperature, 37℃.
- Inactivation Temperature&Time, ≥50℃, 10 mins.
- Purity by SDS-PAGE, ≥90% pure as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis through Coomassie Blue detection.
- Stability, –stored at -20 °C Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Application: Eliminate PCR contamination of DNA synthesis reactions.
