CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-AAVX Conjugate consists of a 14 kDa camelid antibody fragment (affinity ligand) that specifically binds with high affinity and selectivity to native and recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles of various serotypes. The anti-AAVX affinity ligand has demonstrated binding reactivity towards a large set of different AAV serotypes including AAV1 to AAV8, and AAVrh10, indicating that an even broader range of AAV serotypes could potentially be recognized and detected. The affinity ligand is chemically conjugated to biotin via a spacer that retains the binding reactivity of the ligand when used in combination with streptavidin-based conjugates or streptavidin pre-coated surfaces.
