CaptureSelect N-Ethyl Biotin (NEB) Anti-CD8 Conjugate can be used for the isolation of CD8-positive cells. When coupled to streptavidin-coated magnetic beads, CaptureSelect NEB Anti-CD8 Conjugate enables magnetic purification and separation of the CD8-positive subset from whole blood, bone marrow, buffy coat, mononuclear cells, or tissue digests.

The presence of the N-ethyl group on the biotin molecule provides for less stringent binding of the streptavidin molecule, making it possible to outcompete the binding with d-biotin. This results in the release of the streptavidin bead, providing bead-free isolation of CD8-positive cells with high yield and purity. The isolated cells can be used directly in downstream applications, such as flow and surface plasmon resonance cytometry. A detailed user guide is provided that describes the coupling of CaptureSelect NEB Anti-CD8 Conjugate to streptavidin beads and the subsequent isolation of the CD8-positive cell subset.
