Thermo Scientific Pierce Streptavidin UltraLink Resin is a beaded polyacrylamide resin of immobilized recombinant streptavidin protein for use in a variety of biotin-binding affinity purification methods.
Features
- Streptavidin—purified recombinant streptavidin protein (53kDa, near-neutral pI); tetrameric with four biotin-binding site per molecule
- UltraLink Resin—acrylamide-based support provides an alternative to crosslinked beaded agarose supports for medium-pressure applications
- Standard capacity—this variety of beads has a normal load of immobilized streptavidin, providing a binding capacity of at least 2 mg of biotinylated BSA per mL of resin
