IDBRAF kit
On demandIDBRAF kit
The ready-to-use IDBRAF kit is a multiplexed and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification by digital PCR (dPCR) of BRAF‘s mutations (B-Rad proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase) in exon 15.
The BRAF gene, located on chromosome 7q34, plays a major signal transduction role within the MAPK pathway. V600E mutation, which is the most common, accounts for more than 85% of BRAF mutations in metastatic melanoma, more than 50% in metastatic non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and more than 11% in metastatic colon cancer. V600E mutation results in a permanent and unregulated activation of the MAPK pathway without any upstream extrinsic activating signal.
This optimized kit provides a multiplex solution allowing, for each sample, to simultaneously amplify, in one PCR reaction, the BRAF‘s mutations at positions L597, A598, V600 and K601, with a distinction of the V600E mutation (Ref: IDBRAF(s)-50).
