The Oncomine Comprehensive Assay Plus is a targeted, next-generation sequencing (NGS) assay that provides a comprehensive genomic profiling solution appropriate for formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues from solid tumors. The assay detects multiple biomarkers associated with targeted and immune checkpoint therapies. It allows concurrent analysis of DNA and RNA to simultaneously detect multiple types of variants in a single workflow, including hotspots, single nucleotide variants (SNVs), insertions and deletions (InDels), copy number variants (CNVs), microsatellite instability (MSI), and tumor mutational burden (TMB), automatically calculated tumor cellularity, loss-of-heterozygosity, and gene fusions featuring FusionSync.
