Pierce 3x DYKDDDDK Peptide is a lyophilized peptide with the sequence Met-Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-His-Asp-Gly-Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-His-Asp-Ile-Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys (MDYKDHDGDYKDHDIDYKDDDDK). It has a molecular weight of 2861.9 g/mol. For use, reconstitute to 1.5 mg/mL in PBS.

This tricosa-peptide can be used to competitively elute DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins from immobilized anti-DYKDDDDK affinity supports, especially when a DYKDDDDK-tagged protein is sensitive to low pH. Note that Pierce 3x DYKDDDDK Peptide may interfere with protein determination assays and absorbance at 280 nm. However, the peptide can be removed from the eluate by desalting.
